I haven't watched other conferences...but I would say we're the best team in the sec (I would say by a good bit), regardless of record.
I would be interested to see where where our updated stats rank in the sec after the past few weeks. So...is there a Better team right now? I just dont see it. Matter of fact...this might be some of the best ball I've seen LSU play.

No way anybody is close to us right now. Nobody's pitching is as lights out as ours and nobody's bats are hotter than ours.

TCU is on a tear, but I honestly haven't watched them or know who they are beating so I can't objectively say they are playing better, but they have only lost like 3 games since April 1st.

And not in 2013,2012,2011,etc...
I haven't seen a team play like this at this time of the year when so much was on the line in a long long time.

I've watched TCU play a good bit this year especially in the Texas series. Their pitching was damn good and swing the bats pretty well. Cox has carried a few of their Sunday games (KSU and OU) and both of these were arse whippings. They hit well but the Sunday pitchers from these opponents were not good. TCU is playing good ball right now but not close to as good as we are. IMO we should get the 7 and they should get the 8 pending a win from both teams today.

I'm not saying our boys weren't fired up, but earlier this year it seemed we came out and hoped to win. Now our demeanor has changed. Now it looks like we expect to win. It looks like they realized that with the way they are playing, it's going to be very hard to beat them. When you get this confident in baseball, other teams really need to watch out.
If Florida doesn't knock us back to Earth today, there will be 63 teams Monday morning praying not to have to go through Baton Rouge or LSU until the last 3 games in Omaha.

I watch no college baseball outside of LSU so I couldn't tell you, but I think for the first time since very early in the year, this team has some swag.
Now swag can be taken too far, I think our 2001 team is an example, but confidence is such a vital thing and the team has it now. I wouldn't have said it 3 weeks ago but this team will be a tough out.

LSU is getting hot at the right time, I'd much rather this than starting on fire and cooling off.. To answer the question they will be tough to beat.
