I have it connected to the charger and it's not charging. The phone has a black screen and it's vibrating every 2 seconds. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Throw it in the river, see if it floats.

Pull the battery out for a few minutes. Did you drop it in water?

My S3 had been doing the same thing and eventually started working again. It died a week later. A coworker had a similar experience. Go google it, it's been happening a lot lately. I suspect that it is related to an update but that is only my best guess.

I have had this problem occur twice. In both occasions, it was due to the battery finally giving out. Just bring it to a Sprint store and have them test the battery. If it is faulty, they will replace it for free.

If it floats, it is a witch and should be burned immediately.

My iPhone did that for a while. Cleaned out the port and it helped a little, probably had lint in it. Took a closer look and think a pin was a little bent. Turned power off and poked at it with a mini screwdriver. Charges fine now.
