At 750 employees making an average of $100k, thats only $75 million. That is at a big university which would most definitely take in more than $500 million a year. Where does the rest go?

I'd say average at LSU is like $150k. Tack on benefit packages on top of salaries you double your number. Then tack on coaches/athletics staff $25M(most schools don't operate like LSU/TAF). Capital improvement projects one a year at $10-20M. New state of the art Dell desktops $500/pop. The board of directors' private jet usage, $10M. Lining the pockets of top administration, governors, senators, etc. $20-30M

I am in no way justifying any of this expense
