I agree.

However, regardless of whether or not someone thinks what this teenager did should be legal...it's not legal.

5 to life is way too harsh of a penalty for this. But at the same time, this kid/you/I know the rules and the consequences of breaking those rules are spelled out.

Don't want to spend 5 to life in prison? Don't fricking make and sell hash brownies. Were the brownies (and the income from them) THAT important to him that he felt the need to risk his freedom for it? I guess so...
