Not to belabor the point, but that literally changes the entire Han Solo character. Why he tried to make it self-defense I have no idea. When you watch it the first time, it is completely clear that as soon as he sits down, Han intends to kill him. When he punctuates it with, "I'll bet you have." - the scene literally does not make sense if Han's next action is to wait for Greedo to shoot him at point blank range before returning fire.

I mean - the entire point is that you don't draw on drawn gun, so Han did it on the sly - and with only one intention.

I was 13. I loved the updates, except for empire

As an adult and 20 updates later, I'm just waiting for the originals to release
