I have one, a childhood friend who was like a sister to me. She died of cancer a few years ago.
I never got the point of posting on the walls of deceased people, but I had kind of a bad day today and almost tagged her in a post saying how much I missed her. I guess it was more for her family (husband & kids), to let them know she was still missed by others. (FWIW, I didn't do it because it seemed too creepy, but will probably write a PM to her daughter soon about her.)

My Cousin Luke died 18 months ago, I post to his fb wall still sometimes just to say i love you, because even though he can't hear it or read it, I still need to say it, because that hole is with me every single day, and I need something positive to counter act it or it will suck me inside of it.
Some days I think I'm learning to live with it, and some days I cry like it happened yesterday. I was a cynical person who didn't understand why people couldn't move on before he died, but losing someone that close has changed me, forever I fear, and I don't wonder about other peoples ideas and coping mechanisms anymore, I just try and hold on to what keeps me whole and take it as it comes.
