Current:
1. New England (their extended success can't be ignored)
2. Seattle (excellent drafting and the amazing turnaround from a bottom dweller to champs is pretty impressive)
3. San Fran (same as above, minus the championship. I sense some uneasiness long term with Harbaugh, but you can't deny the job he's done so far)
4. New Orleans (the roster we've built through FA, the draft and udfa is one of the deepest in the league. we might have something special this year)
5. Baltimore (recent championship, but more importantly, I think they have the FO and coaching staff in place for long term success.)

I have to look at what they have done over time. I cant just look at where they are currently. Seattle and San Fran have a lot of current success, but I am curious to see if they can sustain that level of play over the course of the next few years.

Gotta give Seattle another year or two before I put them in the top 5.
New England is New England
49ers have been in how many straight NFC Championships? And they were garbage like 5 years ago?
Packers have been above average since Favre, minus an occasional bad year
Steelers have to have a good organization--they lose star players almost every year and they are always very competitive
Ravens--Ozzie Newsome is among the best at what he does
Saints--Have been good since 2006, Loomis/Payton is maybe the best coach/GM combo in the NFL

See I feel that way about San Fran.
Green Bay is most def a top 5 organization. I would put them in there in place of San Fran.

49ers
Seahawks
Saints
Broncos
Ravens
Honorable mention
Cardinals
Steelers
Patriots
Watch out for
Browns
Rams
Patriots are really overrated they have wasted about 7 years of Brady's prime by refusing to get him legit offensive weapons. If they had just drafted or signed a legit #1 WR and RB (they have plenty of cap room every year) they'd have one at least 1 more Super Bowl - probably 2 or even 3 more. Kraft is a secret cheapskate who never gets called out on it. Plus the play in the worst division in the history over the NFL over the past 12 years. Only the Jets have mounted somewhat of a challenge between 2006-2010, but the Dolphins and Bills have been consistently bad.

Sometimes there is a great disconnect between the greatest collaborators. Sometimes it brings out the best in both of them. Lennon and McCartney hated each other the last three years of their working relationship. Garfunkel was Simon's bitch, but that didn't stop them from making great music.

NYET on the Cardinals.
Are the better than they've ever been? Possibly, but that's faint praise, they have made the playoffs FIVE times in Bidwell's 61 years as owner. The. Cardinals have more in common with the Chicago Cubs than the Steelers or Pats (both NFL Franchises which belong in the Top Five).
