I agree. I hate how Spanish is becoming mainstream in America. There is just no assimilation anymore like there used to be. It's one thing to speak it at home or with other people who speak Spanish, but it's another for the established geography to have to ACCOMMODATE them as if we're doing them a favor.
What about in the 19th century when Europeans of multiple nationalities struggled to get through Ellis Island? They learned the native language of the country they were moving to! We didn't just start posting signage of all these other languages! It's the same way I would never go visit another country, and expect them to speak English. I would at least try to learn a few words to get me around THEIR native land.

Well it's nice to know that you are a complete idiot with no concept of history at all. Immigrants that came through Ellis Island often times formed communities with other people from their respective countries, leading to sections of NYC for Italians, Dutch, ect. Please don't try to come across as educated on a subject when you really don't know much about it.
