This is a good strategy. Also allows you to wear a suit on your date which is a great move. I also know that 99% of guys would reject this idea immediately because "it's douchey", which is a shame.
There's a reason that 10% of the guys get 90% of the sex. Most of the time these 10% are considered "douchey" by the other 90% of guys.
