Orange Beach recommended fishing charter

Heading to orange beach in a few weeks and want to get a recommendation for a fishing charter in the area. Any thoughts on how the fishing is there right now and what we might be able to catch would be appreciated. Debating whether to do the full day or half day charter.

Offshore. We are looking at possibly doing a flounder gigging night trip charter but want to line out an offshore charter first. Thanks.

Snapper season opens June 1st, it's a great time to be down there for a charter.
A lot of people will recommend Zeke's. They are the big name in Orange Beach.
I like Ft. Morgan's charter service. More personal and closer to the rigs out of Mobile Bay.

Called Zeke's, the person I talked to was obviously an idiot. Any other recommendations?

Ok I live in Orange Beach and have for 10+years and have had property here since the 80s.
Here are a few of my friends for offshore.
Capt Brian Annan of Gulf Rebel Charters. His son Kendall is also doing charter, they lived down the street from me for years and Kendall and my son graduated together. They are one of the original charter boat and shrimping families in the area. They're not the fancy big Resmondo crowd. Look up Gulf Rebel Charters, they fish out of the neighborhood as Brian was grandfathered in and doesn't have to use a marina to base his business out of. You might get lucky and they will have fresh shrimp, I buy from them right off the boat, as fresh as possible. Pretty sure they are on Facebook as well.
Next, Capt. Dale Woodruff of Class Act. Pretty sure He goes out of Zekes. He's a personal friend and catches fish and his boat is pretty nice, not fancy smancy type but has all the necessary accommodation. He will catch fish, look him up on Facebook. Class Act Charters.
If you want to go on an overnight trip they can help as well but also you should check out Capt. Ricky McDuffie of Sea Hunter.. Here is his site
Sea Hunter
He is great offshore Tuna/bill fish and bottom fishing as well.
Those three should get you started and if not I can rec others.

Capt. Tom Ard is another good choice as linked above.

I have witnessed the "Sea Hunter" do some meat hauls before, even in bad weather.

Capt Ricky grew up here, his father was a charter captain here in the 50s, so it's in his blood. He's one of the best, if not the best in Orange Beach. He's now running out of San Roc Quay.
