nope, I know facts don't have much place on the rant, but this shite is pretty easy to google, and if they were to qualify, the meager pension wouldn't be collectible until age 55

Pretty sure you have to be on an active roster in 4 different seasons. How many games in a season you have to be active for, i am not sure nor whether or not they have to be consecutive seasons. You get no credit for practice squad time towards the penion. If you do qualify, you get $1200/month and health insurance starting at age 55. The monthly goes up every year you play beyond 4. It's a tough pension to achieve.
