That's a bad sign. If she doesn't think her mom is kind of a weird loser than you shouldn't be getting too serious with her. Marriage is such a horrible proposition for men in the year 2014 to begin with - you'd better be damn sure before you settle with anybody.
On the bright side - just keep dating her until you figure it out - it's not like you're going to propose in the next 12 months.
