This works for me as well.
And, like others said, TV, phones, iPads, etc will keep you awake regardless of what you take. I realized that when i first started taking melatonin and would stay on my iPad til 230am. Then i would take melatonin after I worked out, only use iPad to check emails and set up schedule, then would turn it all off. I was asleep in 20minutes.
