They don't have enough fish shite in the water in Florida, to pull off a sparkle beetle.

Yeah, I think people get a little too excited over a lure looking really great to them. Fish may not care. Hell, they hit curly tails and spoons. Doesn't need high-def detail to catch fish. Not saying they aren't good lures, just not necessary. I think the action makes a lot of the difference.
