LOL. Most of my family went to nicholls, as well as a lot of their friends. All have what most would consider good jobs.

Yep, this is spot on. No one from Nicholls has ever gotten a decent job. We all just work on shrimp boats all day.
I enjoyed my time there. Like most have said, Thibodaux is a really small town compared with other college towns in the state. Houma isn't too far away though. So between the 2 cities, there's enough to keep a college kid happy. Class sizes are pretty small compared with other schools, which was a plus in my mind.
And it's just a smaller place on the whole. If you had issues at ULM resulting in you flunking out, a smaller place may not be a bad idea.
