same here...all of that is illegal in MS...
When did that happen? I fished in MS about 5 years ago and yo-yos were all over the lake I was fishing at. First time that I ever saw them.

I grew up in the children's home in Monroe. My houseparent and I would run yoyo's in Bayou Desiard. Caught tons of sacalait in there.

I ran yo yo's on Bayou Desiard growing up as well. Caught many big sacs on yo yo's there, that place was underrated for fishing.
My only issue w/ yo yo's is overfishing them in some places. We used to have a ball running yo yo's on saline/larto but now every tree in the damn place has a yoyo.
