What's my solution?
(1) Strive to provide equal opportunity for all, to the extent possible. I say "to the extent possible" because there will never be a completely equal playing field for all people. As one example, I mentioned earlier that the children of rich people will probably have certain advantages. All other factors being equal, it's probably better to Will Smith's son, as opposed to the white son of a guy who works at the post office.
(2) Children need to be encouraged to take academics seriously. This is primarily the responsibility of parents. If parents shirk this responsibility, be they white, black, or whatever, then that isn't anybody's fault.
(3) School-age young people need to be encouraged to abstain from having sex, or at least taught how to prevent pregnancies. The goal is, nobody needs to have children until they are oout of school and working. Preferably, not until they are married. Can't overstate how important this is.
(4) Other than that, I would emphasize that achievement is an individual endeavor. Whether i belong to a high-achieving group or not, that shouldn't have any bearing on me.
Jews and Asians actually seem to be the highest achieving groups, and I doubt it's a coincidence that they stress education more than anybody, and also have a low rate of teenage pregnancies.
So, that would be my formula for success. If more people would adhere to some of these general guidelines, there would be less of a need for excuses.

I didn't ask you whats your solution, I asked you why you thought it was so?
But yes, I do agree with the rest of your post.
