Crazy. My girlfriend and I were just discussing the Terry Melancon shooting yesterday. She's not from here but met his mother yesterday and asked if I knew the story. The world lost a good dude that day.

He was my closest friend. I got to tell his fiance the news. Yeah that day sucked.

Graduated with Terry. Very nice guy. I was literally down the street at a friends on Ingleside that day it happened. Took off work early and was drinking beer with a buddy when news broke.
