I always assumed people were talking about their actual Apple-made parts. To that extent: My trackpad blows on this particular model. The screen isn't any prettier than any x768 display I've come across. The keyboard is rather less responsive than any I have owned.
Plus: if does have a full-size FireWire 400 port support Power over FireWire.
ETA: that's really a Foxconn credit though.
