You are going to get better going to any class A pga pro. It's just a matter of how u understand their lessons and well you like the company.
I disagree. Rob's information is better than everyone's in BR put together including Chuck's.

I think Brian is probably the best in that state but he pisses a lot of people off. I've just heard class a pros say some of the stupidest shite during lessons. They try to get every slicer to try to swing inside to out like that's the problem

the ball don't lie bro...

You have to fix face before you fix path on a slicer. They're not just over because they want to be. Literally 95% of people slice the ball because the face is open. A left path is just a byproduct.

but what is causing the face to be open...majority of the time it can be connected to two factors.
1) your swing is too steep and your forearms can not close down fast enough to shut the face back to square
2) the left pelvis (for right handed player) is lifting up and out of the swing leaving your arms to try and catch up with the body which again leaves the face wide arse open and you get a little pop fly to the right
there is no one way to swing a club the right way, and I absolutely understand that, but there are few principles to a swing that must remain the same in every swing; and one of those is trying to get the club started on an inside plane to start the downswing.

Now this guy knows what he's talking about.

Actually grip and mass of the person and takeaway are the most influential to face, in that order.
No this coupled with your head sliding back is your body shallowing itself. You fix face then path will come. When you path isn't 12 left your angle of attack is going to come way down therefore you'll lose that move.
Actually a lot of good players have a hand path from transition that goes a little over. It's call carry or the anti stuck move. It also depends in how much beta torque is applied to the club throughout the swing. Also most players don't need an inside swing direction. You give someone a straight swig direction and the PGA tour average of 4.1* down with a 6 iron and you will have a draw path.

You're spewing the D-Plane theory like it's your fricking job, only it's all bunched together and incoherent.

Most of the ramble is.
Care to explain yourself?

Sure. Which part? The torques and hand path?
Posted on 4/29/14 at 8:22 am to TequilaMockingBird
No.
Importance of path, the angle of attack, and the role of the direction of the club face. All are major themes to what you said.
What do you do? Teacher? Student? Pro?

he is mostly talking AOA and plane. He is sitting there with a book copying and pasting shite.

I think there is some merit to what you are spewing based on my recent experiences with pros.
