Waited a long time for this. FBD - Abacus. Four oz. pour.
I'm not supposed to be drinking, but I couldn't pass up an opportunity to have a taste of Abacus.
Also, 10 Barrel is opening up a brewpub in Portland. Their brewpub in Bend is probably the best and most popular brewpub in the city of Bend. This is great news.... To me, at least. They'll be brewing a lot of one offs there.

The story behind this is that a guy I met a few months back who is the regional sales director for Oskar Blues moved to Bend. He used to work for Firestone-Walker and had a dozen cases of FW beers that he didn't want to move. Included were Abacus, verticals of Parabola, and other FW beers. He sold those beers to a local bottle shop/taproom that I frequent. They are either going to package the verticals, or sell them by the glass in special events, like today.
