re: Boat launch comedy

Launched my boat at Toledo at the start of my vacation to set trot lines.
I asked my buddy to put in the plug ( the only chore he had to do) he said yes I did it.
About 15 minutes later as we in the front tying the trot line he never notices he's 6" deep in water.
Finally I look back to see loose baits floating and ask him if he put in the plug, to which he responds: the one on the left or the right?
There was only one open hole, since I plugged every other hole in the back, then I notice the plug on the transom.
Luckily you can put the plug in while on the water, we did and after 15 minutes of the bilge (or bilage) as he calls it and some help from a bucket we good to go...
He blamed me for not telling him which hole to plug even though he has fished in that boat over 100 times....
