What social issues in TX though? Our water problems? Border Control? Pot? And frankly, if all this leads to public economic policy staying the same, who cares? Texas is BOOMING right now.

This was proven in 2012. People voted for social issues(WAR ON WOMEN!) over economic issues. They picked Obama(social issue champion, weak economy) over Romney(someone with an economic background). 2012 proved that voters care more about emotionally charged social issues than their pocketbook.

And its why the left loves drumming up social issues(WAR ON WOMEN!).
