I thought it was an amazing film. I thought everyone did an stellar job acting, and I feel Lupita and the other cast members gave us a very small, intimate, and un-sensationalized story. Much as it pains me to say it, my boy Benedict Cumberbatch was probably the weakest performance IMO. The success of the film was how understated and everday things appeared, no grand flailing(no pun intended) of the actors or overwrought sentimentalism from the director.

Loved the movie so much that I immediately downloaded the book to my Kindle after leaving the theater.

I've got to say that I can't recall a movie ever being truer to its source material.
