I understand your point. The whole point of racism lies in one's behavior towards another race.

That's what I think. I would never hold Ill will against an Asian family because they wanted their son or daughter to marry another Asian as long as their dealings with me were fair. And I'd feel the same way about anyone else who has pride in his own race as long as it didn't cross over into special privileges.
My wife works with a young man from India and we were at a party together once and my wife asked him if he was dating any local girls. He said no, and his family would only allow him to date and marry and Indian girl. Now this view is most certainly racist, but he is a great guy who I now consider a friend and I would never dream of calling him a racist because he is always kind, considerate and open with me.
