I did go to the doctor, and he put me on it. I'm just trying to see the experiences of others while taking this. If it helped, if it didn't.

I was about your age, and it did not diminish my sex drive at all. It did, however, make orgasm very difficult. Honestly, though, overcoming that was pretty fun and actually kinda awesome (with the right girl). After that, it wasn't a major problem, but your milage may vary. Know that that side effect is legit, and since it sounds like a major concern for you, you should probably ask your doctor about other meds that don't carry that risk.
Worst side effect wound up being excessive sweating, which seemed to linger long after I quit taking it.
