Smart move by these 2 young men. First off, Ill never bash a kid or say a kid made the wrong decision by returning to school.
And, I really dont know how the Harrison twins will do in the NBA. They arent that great of athletes, compared to NBA guards. They dont blow by people and arent the fastest / quickest guys out there, and arent that explosive. And they arent that good of shooters. Yea Aaron Harrison made some big shots in the tourney, but that doesnt mean they are good shooters.
They are effective in college due to their size. There arent that many 6'5 PGs in college basketball. They can bully around majority of college guards. But, you saw what happened when they played vs UConn. Napier and Boatright dominated them on both sides of the court. They were so much more quicker then the Harrison twins and it showed. That game exposed the flaws in the Harrison twins game. They dont have good lateral quickness and arent good defenders. And in the NBA, every PG is extremely quick and explosive.
Smart move to return. They need to get better at just about everything. Look at their teammateJames Young. Pretty much the same size and same %s as Aaron Harrison. But, hes a top 15 pick in the draft. Even though his FG%s are similar, hes a much better shooter and has a pure stroke. And his athleticism is off the charts. Hes extremely explosive. Ive said all year he will be the 2nd best NBA player from this team, behind JR. And he could actually end up being better than JR.
