why does anyone listen to these "experts", they are paid to pimp certain players by agents.
Good god, just call the agent directly if you wanna hear a bunch of bullshite.

Bortles tape is not horrible. Over 3500yards at a 68% completion % and 25 TDs to 9 INTs. QBR of 163. And can improvise and keep plays alive with his feet and size, ala Big Ben. Average arm? Its better than Bridgewaters.
Bortles tape is horrible. I've watched several of his games, and I don't see the fuss.

at the fact that you said Teddy Bridgewater has the highest football IQ to come out in the past few years. Did you forget about someone named Andrew Luck? Russell Wilson?
There is nothing wrong with that statement. Just because Luck can be almost considered a genius doesn't mean he has the highest football IQ. I like Wilson too, but Bridgewater is doing things pre snap that most NFL QBs still can't do.

I agree hes accurate, smart, can move around, and has a nice release. But he does not have a very high ceiling. and has limitations. He will most likely be a solid QB. I dont think he will ever be a top 10 QB in league.
Bridgewater, Murray, and Mett have the best chance to be successful out of the bunch. I guess will have to wait for 5 years to bring this back up though.
Ok, maybe I didn't mean all of your points were wrong. I honestly can't see why you like Bortles, you honestly can't see why I like Bridgewater. I mean imo, Bortles has nothing but size and mobility, in your opinion, Bridgewater is Dalton at best. I really don't believe Manziel will do anything great at QB. Out of the three, I stick by Bridgewater being the best and having the best chance to be elite.

Right on KG. These "experts" simply get paid to guess like the rest of us. They might study the draft and team needs but NOT ONE of the experts will be 100% correct or even close.
In fact their "misses" on draft projections give them additional air time after the draft to explain why they were wrong, blah, blah, blah.
Just look at all of the experts pre season polls each year or their projections of how the NFL will finish. Just a bunch of guessing but they get paid to guess.
I don't care where anyone gets drafted. If you produce in the NFL you will get paid.

DatBayou... I respect you as a poster because a lot of the time you are on point. But you are reaching with that statement man.
And if Bortles tape is so horrible, he wouldnt be the type of prospect that he is. His tape is not horrible. Its solid.
But I do agree that this draft, no QB has separated from the rest. Which is why I dont think any QB should be a 1st round pick. I mean is Bridgewater, Bortles, and Manziel 3 rounds better than McCarron and Murray? Hell no.
And I do agree that Bridgewater is the "safest" pick at QB. Not a risky guy. But I also think his potential is limited. Bortles is a little bit more risky of a pick, not by much, but has a higher ceiling in the NFL. And Manziel is your boom / bust pick.
