now now jamboy...let them get outraged about something that should be left up to private property owners, then watch as they talk about limited government.

I have no issues with carry permits, the right to carry in public places, or even the right to carry in private places.
Any individual could bring a firearm into any circumstance. Easily I believe the law abiding citizens should have rights to protect themselves.
That said, gun rights proponents need to be reasonable as well.
Considering I was in the US Army as a 12b combat engineer, expert in the m16 and educated in detonating c4, I guess my argument that normal citizens shouldn't have access to such weapons by right, makes me {insert name}?
I own a 9mm and a 12 gauge, fwiw. IMO, the issue with gun rights isn't taking guns away from law abiding citizens, it's the proliferation of unnecessary weapons.
