Me and 2 friends were in Lake Charles headed down Ryan St. to go to OBs. We had been drinking since pretty early and should have been headed home. Friend gets into a street race with a corvette (we were in a S10 Blazer). We pass LCPD coming the opposite direction. He flips lights, we take an immediate right. Corvette goes straight. We go 2 blocks, take another quick right. Drive down 5 blocks, pick an abandoned looking house, park, and run out into the back yard. We get down low and crawl into what looks like a pigeon coop. We hear sirens and see lights for the next 15 minutes or so. Figuring the coast is clear, we come out quietly and peek down the street both ways. Dead quiet, almost too quiet.

We get in my friends hot rod and start to back out. We made it all of 2 feet and all hell broke loose. There were cops everywhere, on foot and as many cars as I could see in all directions.

They split us up and we all give conflicting accounts. They asked my friend for his info, he gives it to them. They look at his registration and immediately step away and have a conference. Turns out my friend's uncle is well known in LC. He handed my friend his info back and told us to go straight home.

Holy frick dude, once you have gotten away from the po po, never return to the vehicle. Let them impound that biatch for pick up when sober or just let the owner go back alone if he wants his ride that bad.

I did almost the exact same thing. I was in my Camaro racing my buddy in an S10 down Ryan and another guy in an Expidition was following us. We were probably doing 70-80mph and passed a cop coming the opposite direction. He flips the lights but couldn't turn around fast enough because there was traffic in the lane on side of him. We turn off in a neighborhood and slowly crept through to the other side. Met up at a carwash and waited a few minutes. Then drove off and that was it.

Doesn't sound like much but my heart has never beat faster
