I think I understand economics pretty well.. my issues are with understanding what we are willing to sacrifice and live with morally as a community to succeed as a nation.

Once you get a basic understanding of what the price system actually is and it's role in a society, it will become crystal clear as to why government needs be as small as possible....or not exist at all.

There are no morals as a community or success as a nation. Each of these things are particular to an individual. Ascribing either to a group of 300,000,000+ is a recipe for disaster.

You think that everyone should share equally in the wealth and resources

Well sport, its been tried over and over and over again. And there is always the same result. Society collapses because the system is designed to reward the least amount of effort

Why get up before dawn to plow, feed, bake, water, etc if you will earn no more profit that the addict who slept most of the day away?
