The vast majority will disagree but this is my opinion. Get your retirement/savings/emergency accounts in order and then don't worry about saving a nickle here or a dime here. Saving a a few grand over a year or two does not matter in the long run. You get much more utility from spending it and enjoying life in your twenties. I know the majority will disagree with me, but if you believe you have a lot of earning potential in the future even 5-10k won't matter that much when you're 40.

I agree with this. Obviously get your finances straight and make sure a large % of your paycheck is never even seen. Once you're comfortable with how much is going into investments, don't worry about being stingy on every little thing day-to-day. Have some fun and enjoy life. This hinges a bit on how much you're making of course, but assuming you're not dirt poor, take advantage of being young.
Also, don't waste money on a nice apt. Find some roommates and you can easily live in a good place for $500-$700 a month in Atlanta. Compare that to spending $1000 if you live alone and it's a no brainer.
Oh, and to everyone taking jabs at Atlanta, you have no idea what you're talking about. It's a fantastic place to be fresh out of college.
