TigerWise Another wannabe Beer Fest in BR I was talking to one if the chef/owners of this place at Hogs. He said this is something he was trying to do along with getting a better beer line up. I would check it out if I were in BR. Funny how much people bitch about not having these type things and then they bitch when they do.
Would be awesome if they had a bunch of beers that are rare or one offs. Why should i spend $40 to drink a bunch of beers i can buy on the shelf and/or have already tried?

To support the scene. $40 is a drop in the bucket for what mavens spend on beer. Plus it's for a good cause.

Holy crap that's an ugly website... It looks like a website from mid 90s.
Totally agree, in general if a beer festival doesn't have homebrews and there are no one off brews that I can't buy on shelf/tap then I'm not interested.
