yeah, that doesn't make any sense. there was plenty of time to realize he didn't have the puck. he probably didn't have the time to avoid all contact but he certainly had time to not drive his shoulder through the plexiglass

i think the two side angles make it pretty obvious that was a dirty hit with a high elbow/shoulder contact to the head
