There's also a bunch of discussions about the original Rivals post that the Auburn guy made, but I think the reference goes back further than Rivals...so that is a little unclear.

Bottom line is I have been trying to get the Bama Hippie thing to stick for a while unsuccessfully as you can tell. It would provide the same kind of confusion for their fanbase as this does to ours.

bama fans smell like shite. it's a fact. i read it in a book. so we can now spread that since its a fact.

The first time I saw a reference to LSU fans smelling like corndogs was on the Dawgrant before the 2003 SECCG. Apparently some UGA fan thought it would be funny. Then they got their asses stomped and shut up about it.

The problem was that some stupid Auburn fan picked up on it the next season, but that was the extra point game. And it's stuck ever since.

That's how I remember it anyway. But yeah, suppoosedly the UGA fan got it off an Iowa board.
