I own a 07 suburban and the '15 is light years ahead to the old models in technology, ride and capability.. as far as holding value that's has in part to do with availability.. Suburban vs LC manufacturing #'s is the reason..

Those were new models once upon a time. You don't think the new LC is light years ahead of the 2007? And what has the new Suburban done in terms of improving off road capability?

It has more to do with the quality of the vehicle. Chevy makes a shitload of Corvettes, and they seem to hold their value just fine.
