These incidents are mostly related to the background of individual players and the people they hang out with, has little to do with the state of athletic program at a given school.

I agree. It's certainly stupid to tie these things to the state of a program. We could've had twice as many arrests and had we not lost Perriloux and Mathieu we'd probably have 2 more national championships.

But it is fun to see we're the best in the SEC (vandy players use Jedi mind tricks to explode cops brains before being arrested and there's nothing fun to do in Starkville so you might as well get arrested) and still hear that "Miles doesn't discipline".
