So Costco is part of the "powerful forces" lining up to stop St George???

No Costco is a large retailer new to BR lining up with the people in EBR who helped them get a huge tax break.

If it was important for them to be in the city, then they would have bought property inside the city. They didn't.

You really don't get it, do you?

Costco was, in effect, reimbursed for the infrastructure improvements they needed to build such as the roads around their new location plus for the cost of tearing down the old Coca-Cola building. For that one-time tax reimbursement, Costco will provide 250 new, permanent jobs.

And you're an expert on all the prices of all the property which Costco could have bought and you know for a fact that there was property within the city limits acceptable to Costco? Wow, you're pretty damn smart!
