I reluctantly read this book a few years ago at the behest of a friend. I literally lost a political bet, and that was my penance.

I'm not a fan o Levin. I haven't read anything of his since, nor do I listen to his show.

Just about everything he predicted in that book has come true under Obama. It is scary how accurate he was, especially regarding Obamacare.

Hopefully, the first sentence was thrown in to build credibilty. If not, why would you not read or listen to someone who has demonstrated that level of insight into what is happening and what is to come?

Willfull ignorance?

Funny thing: the book kinda assumed a Hillary presidency, iirc. Obama wasn't big on the radar. Of course, it didn't change a thing that it was BO rather than HC. The ideology is the problem, not the figurehead.
