I'm lucky enough to live in Austin and have a boss that shares my views, but not everyone is that fortunate . This my way or the highway nonsense that the Corporatocracy is forcing on American workers who have no other alternative is criminal IMO. But then again criminal behavior is nothing new to Corporate America so I guess it's par for the course in a way.

Your views are 30 years behind the times. I've never worked for a company like this.

Most of us have good employer relations.

Are you suggesting that people have no choice in whom they work for?

Nobody puts a gun to an employee's head and says you have to work for THAT BOSS.

good for you but nobody made you work for the guy/gal. You chose to do so.

My boss encourages me to take time during the week to volunteer at my kid's schools and to get things taken care of, like auto repair, for example. There are times when I need to work until 2 or 3 in the morning, or travel for work on a weekend, so we're encouraged to balance out personal lives and work the best we can so we can be productive when we're most needed.

The law as written in France does a disservice to the employee. While the employee might be able to legally be dismissive of the company's needs, it also gives the employees who recognize that the world works in many shades of gray not black and white, an advantage come promotion time. That's reality.

Dude

You just surpassed Rex for the dumbest poster on the political board. All in one topic.
