Had a cur once.. Found her one Christmas, named her Noel..found her tangled up in a fence and the leg was starting to get infected.. She did good with three legs.. It was the back right leg.. She ran fine and everything..

Glad to hear fellas. Had a ton of dogs and while I've always liked them, never got attached to them like the last few... becoming soft in my old age 
Good to have the reassurance since this is new to me. Thanks I will update after we get him back.
