Don't take that as a knock on KL. I think he's an excellent player, almost a prototypical Popovich guy. If his offensive output can improve, he'll definitely be up there. He's only 22-23 right?

Correct, but that's not really the issue here. What I said regarding Pop not rushing his development applies in that in observing Leonard's play, on a different (lesser) team or a less disciplined system, he absolutely could put up competitive #'s every night if he wanted to. But that's not the role that would help the Spurs, and Pop has been giving him more offensive leeway incrementally so as not to upset the balance that is a hallmark of San Antonio's system.
Perhaps down the road he'll be "the man," but honestly, he shouldn't be on these Spurs as currently constructed.
