Rattle traps are good for covering a lot of area and finding bass. If bass are hitting top water nothing beats a Zara Spook or Lucky 13 getting blown out of the water. Beetle spins are good, can get bass and crappie with them. A big ole jig with some kind of plastic creature behind it works well too, I prefer all black. Small jigs for crappie or a bucket of minnows. That's about all I fish with now a days.
