I guess my point was that THIS phase is your real life.

If you're waiting for this phase in your life to pass, then yeah it's just gonna take time. But sitting idly by will make it last longer. Being yourself and doing what you love (hobbies or work, doesn't really matter, just be true to what you like) will get you on to the rest of your life that much faster.

Yeah, everybody says that, but the hard part is isolating what you truly love. It's also the part everybody seems to skip when giving this kind of advice, which makes the advice close to pointless. There has to be a methodology for figuring out what you truly want to do, and for most people it really isn't as simple as it sounds. It definitely isn't for me.
