my bassett ate probably 1 cup of the stuff a couple of years back. Started walking around in circles and acting really drunk. Took her to the emergency vet and forked over $500 to have her stomach pumped full of charcoal. Once she vomited it all up, she was fine.

This dog has also, however, eaten an entire chicken carcass, full pans of brownies, aluminum foil, crayons, tampons, dirty diapers and anything else you can imagine. I think she's the antichrist.
