Jax, will do for sure!
When I met him at the NOLA Anniversary event he was just kind of a prick. Cocky. Acted as if I wasn't worth speaking to. I tried to compliment Timber Beast and pick his brain about some of what they had going on, but he was very curt with all of his answers and borderline rude. And he was just standing there doing nothing, so it's not like he was busy and I was interrupting anything.
I think that's why I love NOLA so much. All the people there are fantastic and love to just shoot the shite. I'll always give them my business just because I think they're such great individuals that turn out an above average and at times really good product.
He did say something about a barrel aged brew and if I recall correctly some experimenting with a sour that was happening at that particular time.

What happened? I though the brewer from Lazy Magnolia was female?

Pretty sure you met him before that event. I know he was there the first time I met you. Maybe the party was the first time someone identified him as the Timber Beast guy.

Yeah, they are working on some sour beers, they had some available when I went there for the tour a few weeks back. I think it's going to mostly be in-house stuff though, not full release.
