I used to hunt between Woodville MS and Natchez MS... which is basically on the state line for LA / MS. We had them there. Caught a few pics on a trail cam. But, like all cats, they dont stay in 1 place too long. They keep moving.
I see no reason why they wouldnt be in LA at some point. And there have been sightings with pictures.
edit: NEVERMIND. lol... it was a cougar.
