Think of it this way - if it were not a crime to kill bald eagles, would you shoot one for target practice? Most people wouldn't because there is a certain level of respect for something so graceful and awe-inspiring. But you probably wouldn't think twice about shooting a buzzard. Exactly. The chances of an animal getting to that stage in its life is pretty slim and impressive. He has probably been around since before WWI, I wouldn't be shooting him just to post a picture and make a soup, same thing for big gators.
Then again I think for the most part the human species sucks, Ill take the animals. I just enjoy nature, Ive prob gone hunting more times than not knowing that I am not going to kill or see much yet I still jump at every chance I get. A day spent in nature is better than one spent with most other humans if you ask me.
