Its def been an exciting off season so far.
We "cut the fat" so to speak with certain players. And for the most part we needed to do that.
Kept Graham. For 1 more year at least but Im confident a deal will be done. And kept Strief.
Went out and made the biggest FA signing since we got Brees, in getting 1 of the top S and defensive playmakers in the game in Byrd. And then made another very good signing in Champ Bailey. Hes a veteran, 1 of the best CBs to ever play the game, and versatile. And he will be our #2 CB.
Defensively, we have improved. Offensive side of the ball, we kept our top target and we will get another playmaker at WR in the draft.
If we just have a solid draft and address our needs, it will be a great offseason. If we have a great draft (or just draft Jordan Matthews
) it will be a grand slam off season. If everyone of our draft picks are crappy, which I doubt... hey we still got Byrd.
