This is strictly opinion, but to me The Grudge was scarier. Audition fricked me up more than the Exorcist. I also considered Jaws to be more terrifying, but only when I went swimming.

I didnt find audition scary, more so just disgusting and fricked up. I would put the ring on that list, the Ring fricked me up when i was younger.

Also, I don't know if The Exorcist is as much scary as it is disturbing to me.
It's a great flick though.
